An investigation into a discrepancy between two ultrasonic meters located at a power plant was requested. The discrepancy was on the order of 6-7 percent. The Scope of Work included: reviewing existing data (logfiles, historical volume, pressure, temperature, gas quality, meter and instrument calibrations, flow computer configurations), suggesting corrective actions and including recommendations for maintaining optimal accuracy of both meters, a review of data acquired after corrective actions were taken to confirm the effect of those actions.
