Oilfield service firm Letton Hall Group expands

(Houston) The Letton Hall Group, a leader in oil and gas measurement technology, is expanding its services and adding technical staff. Service sector expansions such as this that coincide with oil company contractions are creating a balance shift of industry know-how from producers to service providers.
In recent months, a major oil company has appointed the Letton Hall Group to allocate the produced oil and gas at a large production hub in the Gulf of Mexico. Letton Hall computes the quantities of hydrocarbons assigned to each producing well, which determines the revenues and costs due to each producer. Leading the effort is Senior Measuremevnt and Allocation Advisor, Thomas Hurstell, a 25-year veteran of process systems in the Gulf of Mexico.
Joining the Letton Hall Group May 1, 2016 to support this and other activities are Robert A. Webb, P.E., former head of measurement at BP, and chair of both the API Committees on Petroleum Measurement (COPM), and Production Measurement and Allocation (CPMA), and Jefferson Creek, PhD, Emeritus Fellow and former Senior Research Consultant in fluids and flow assurance at Chevron. Hurstell said, “I’m very pleased to welcome Bob Webb and Jeff Creek to the Letton Hall Group. Bob brings significant experience in measurement and allocation, and Jeff's insight into hydrocarbon phase behavior is virtually unmatched in the industry.”
