Measurement Training Gets an Upgrade at Letton Hall Group

(Houston)  Field measurement training services at the Letton Hall Group are getting an upgrade with the addition of gas industry expert, Dennis Tierney.  A veteran of the U.S. interstate pipelines, Dennis is an expert in gas flow meter station design, installation, and operation.  He has extensive knowledge of ultrasonic, orifice, and turbine meters, as well as controls, flow computers, gas quality instrumentation, communications and SCADA processes. 

As a Senior Advisor and Lead Instructor, Dennis’ main focus is transferring his knowledge to students attending the numerous courses the Letton Hall Group offers.  In addition to training, Dennis also conducts meter station audits, design reviews, meter station troubleshooting, and technology research and development.

Dennis began his career in the natural gas industry with a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology working in communications and data acquisition, and added metering expertise over the years. His last position was with Boardwalk Pipeline Partners as a Measurement Design and Technical Specialist.
